President and Founder Penny B. Johnson
is passionate about helping clients solve challenging business
problems. She is an expert at guiding companies through the
communications maze that bridges the gap between branding
and demand marketing. As the leader of Edgewater's marketing
and communications practice, Penny provides strategy, planning
and implementation to meet the needs and goals of clients
and their customers. These services are especially valuable
for companies in the throes of major business and organizational
change, including managing marketing issues for transitioning
companies.
Prior
to founding Edgewater Marketing Group, Penny was vice president
of marketing at enterprise software firms EXE Technologies
and Broadvision. She has lived and worked across the U.S.
from Silicon Valley to the Research Triangle Park, and has
International experience in both Europe and Asia. Penny brings
28 years of experience in marketing, communications and information
technology as an alumna of Sun Microsystems, 3Com, C-Cube
Microsystems and GlaxoSmithKline.
